INDICATION
Salbutamol Rotacaps are particularly suitable for the relief of asthma\\r\\nsymptoms. It is valuable as relief medication in mild, moderate and severe\\r\\nasthma.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
| \\r\\nSalmolin Syrup\\r\\n | \\r\\nSalmolin Respirator Solution\\r\\n |
| \\r\\nOver\\r\\n 12 years: ½ – 1 tablet (2 – 4 mg) or 1 – 2\\r\\n teaspoonful 3 to 4 times daily. Maximum single dose is 8 mg.\\r\\n6\\r\\n to 12 years: ½ tablet (2 mg) or 1 teaspoonful 3 to 4\\r\\n times daily.\\r\\n2\\r\\n to 6 years: 1 – 2 mg or ½ – 1 teaspoonful 3 to 4 times\\r\\n daily.\\r\\n \\r\\n | \\r\\nBy\\r\\n Intermittent Administration:\\r\\nAdult\\r\\n (and the elderly): Salmolin Respirator Solution 0.5-1.0 ml\\r\\n should be diluted to final volume of 2.0-4.0 ml with normal saline for\\r\\n injection.\\r\\nChildren\\r\\n (under 12 years of age): 0.5 ml of the solution diluted to 2.0-4.0\\r\\n ml with normal saline. Some children patients may however require higher\\r\\n doses up to 1.0 ml of the solution. Intermittent treatment may be repeated\\r\\n four times a day.\\r\\nBy\\r\\n Continuous Administration:\\r\\nSalmolin Respirator Solution is diluted with\\r\\n normal saline for injection, 1-2 ml solution made up to 100 ml with diluent.\\r\\n |

COMPOSITION
Salmolin 100 ml Syrup: Each 5 ml syrup contains Salbutamol (as\\\\r\\\\nSulphate) 2 mg.Salmolin 60 ml Syrup: Each 5 ml syrup contains Salbutamol (as\\\\r\\\\nSulphate) 2 mg.
Salmolin Respirator Solution: Each ml solution contains Salbutamol\\\\r\\\\nSulphate BP equivalent to Salbutamol 5 mg.Salmolin MDI: Each actuation delivers Salbutamol (as Sulphate) BP\\\\r\\\\n100 mcg.
