Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride BP

INDICATION
Moxifix Tablet & IV Infusion (Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride BP) is used for the treatment of Community Acquired Pneumonia.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Route of Administration: Oral The dose of Moxifix is 400 mg (orally or as an intravenous infusion) once daily. The duration of therapy depends on the type of infection as described in following table:

Moxifix 400 mg/250 ml IV should be administered by intravenous infusion over a period of 60 minutes. Avoid bolus or rapid infusion.OR, AS DIRECTED BY PHYSICIAN.
COMPOSITION
Moxifix Tablet: Each film-coated tablet contains Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride BP equivalent to Moxifloxacin 400 mg.
Moxifix IV Infusion: Each 250ml sterile solution contains Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride BP equivalent to Moxifloxacin 400mg.
