Leucovorin (Folinic Acid)
Supportive Care (Antianemic Drug)
Indication:
• To treat the Megaloblastic anemia due to Folate deficiency.
• To diminish the toxicity and counteract the effect of impaired Methotrexate elimination.
Dosage & Administration:
• Megaloblastic anemia: 5 to 15 mg daily.
• Reduction of harmful effects of Folic Acid antagonists: 15 mg every 6 hours for 2 to 3 days.
Preparation:
FolitaTM Tablet: : Each box contains 30 tablets in blister packs.
