Rifaximin
Anti-Infective Anti-diarrheal

Indication:

• Hepatic Encephalopathy (HE)
• Travelers’ Diarrhea (TD)
• Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Diarrhea (IBS-D)

Dosage & Administration:

TD	200 mg tablet 3 times daily for 3 days
HE	550 mg tablet 2 times daily
IBS-D	550 mg tablet 3 times daily for 14 day. Patients who experience recurrence can be retreated up to 2 times with the same regimen

Preparation:

Efaxim^™ 200 tablet: Each box contains 10’s tablets in alu-alu blister.
Efaxim^™ 550 tablet: Each box contains 10’s tablets in alu-alu blister.
