1. What is Vonocab® Trio Kit?
Vonocab® Trio Kit is the standard triple therapy regimen contains 20 mg Vonoprazan tablets, 500 mg Amoxicillin capsules and 500 mg Clarithromycin tablets for oral administration is effective for eradicating H. Pylori.
2. How Vonocab® Trio Kit works in our body?
Vonoprazan inhibits H+, K+-ATPase in a reversible and potassium-competitive manner. Amoxicillin is an antibacterial drug. Clarithromycin is a macrolide antimicrobial drug. Acid suppression enhances the replication of H. pylori bacteria and the stability and effectiveness of antimicrobials in the treatment of H. pylori infection.
3. What are the indications of Vonocab® Trio Kit?
Vonocab® Trio Kit is indicated in the eradication of H. pylori in active chronic gastritis, duodenal and gastric ulcers.
4. What is the dosage & administration of Vonocab® Trio Kit?
The recommended dosage regimen is –
- Vonoprazan 20 mg
- Amoxicillin 1,000 mg
- Clarithromycin 500 mg
Each given twice daily (morning and evening, 12 hours apart), with or without food, for 14 days.
5. What are the contraindications of Vonocab® Trio Kit?
Vonocab® Trio Kit regimen is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Vonoprazan, amoxicillin or any other Betalactams, Clarithromycin or any other Macrolide antimicrobials.
6. What are the adverse effects of Vonocab® Trio Kit?
Most common adverse reactions (≥ 2%) were dysgeusia, diarrhea, vulvovaginal candidiasis, headache, abdominal pain, and hypertension.
7. What would be the storage condition of Vonocab® Trio Kit?
Do not store above 30°C. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Keep in a dry place. Protect from light & keep out of the reach of children.
