Odycin® (Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride 400 mg) tablets, for oral use is a is a fluoroquinolone antibacterial indicated for treating infections in adults (18 years of age and older) caused by designated susceptible bacteria.
2. How Odycin® works in our body?
Odycin® is a synthetic fluoroquinolone that exhibits bactericidal action by inhibiting the topoisomerase II (DNA gyrase) and topoisomerase IV required for bacterial DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination.

- Community Acquired Pneumonia
- Acute Bacterial Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis
- Acute Bacterial Sinusitis
- Uncomplicated Skin and Skin Structure Infections

4. What are the dosage & administration of Odycin®?
Odycin® 400 mg tablet is only indicated for adults (18 years of age and older) for oral use only in the conditions listed below:

5. What are the contraindications of Odycin®?
Odycin® is contraindicated in persons with a history of hypersensitivity to Moxifloxacin or any member of the quinolone class of antibiotics

The following serious and otherwise important adverse reactions of Odycin® 400 mg Tablet are:
Tendinitis and Tendon Rupture, Peripheral Neuropathy, Central Nervous System Effects, Exacerbation of Myasthenia Gravis, QT Prolongation, Other Serious and Sometimes Fatal Adverse Reactions, Hypersensitivity Reactions, Clostridium Difficile-Associated Diarrhea, Blood Glucose Disturbances, Photosensitivity/Photo toxicity
