INDICATION

Constipation, Hepatic encephalopathy (portal systemic encephalopathy)

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Adult (including elderly):

Constipation : Initially 15 ml twice daily, adjusted according to patient\’s need.

Child : 5 – 10 years : 10 ml twice daily.

1 – 5 years : 5 ml twice daily.

Under 1 year : 2.5 ml twice daily. Tulos may, if necessary, be taken with water or fruit juice.Hepatic Encephalopathy : 30 – 50 ml 3 times daily, subsequently adjusted to produce 2 – 3 soft stools daily.

COMPOSITION

Each 5 ml concentrated oral solution contains Lactulose BP 3.35 g.
