Titex Vet powder: Each gram Powder contains Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride BP 200 mg.

Description

Oxytetracycline is one type of proven broad spectrum antibiotic that is used in infectious diseases of domesticated animal and poultry. Oxytetracycline is prepared for oral, uterus use, water, feed and injection use. Oxytetracycline inhibits bacterial protein synthesis.

Indications

Poultry: To prevent and treat different poultry diseases eg. Salmonellosis, Colibacillosis, Infectious Coryza, Fowl Cholera, Mycoplasmosis, Chronic Respiratory Diseases (CRD) and Coccidiosis.

Dosage & Administration

Side Effects

Oxytetracycline is generally safe and effective but Oxytetracycline and other tetracyclines are cause of the teeth discoloration or decaying teeth in young animals.

Precautions

No significant precaution is needed during use.

Use in Pregnancy & Lactation

Oxytetracycline should be avoided in pregnant animals as liver problems may occur.

Drug Interaction

Oxytetracycline may interact with other medications such drugs include oral antacids.

Over Dose

High doses of Oxytetracycline may cause kidney problem.

Withdrawal Period

Milk: 5 Days
Meat: 7 days

Protect from light & Keep in a cool and dry place. Keep out of the reach of children.
