1. What is Tapina® Cream?
Tapina® Cream, 1% is an aryl hydrocarbon receptor agonist indicated for the topical treatment of plaque psoriasis in adults. Each gram of Tapina® Cream contains 10 mg of Tapinarof in a white to off-white cream.
2. How does Tapina® Cream work in our body?
Tapina® Cream gets absorbed inside the epithelial cells of the skin and binds with Aryl-Hydrocarbon receptor. Then it enters the nucleus, binds with AhR-Nuclear translocator protein, and then forms a complex. This complex reduces inflammation, increases antioxidant response, and improves normal skin barrier normalization by increasing the barrier proteins.
3. What is the indication of Tapina® Cream?
Psoriasis (Plaque Psoriasis).
4. What is the dosage & administration of Tapina® Cream?
Apply a thin layer of Tapina® Cream to affected areas ONCE DAILY. (Till Patient relieves symptoms or according to severity till 40 weeks)
Wash hands after application, unless Tapina® Cream is for treatment of the hands. Tapina® Cream is not for oral, ophthalmic, or intravaginal use.

6. What are the adverse effects of Tapina® Cream?
The most common side effects of Tapina® Cream include: Folliculitis, nasopharyngitis, skin rash or irritation including itching and redness, peeling, burning, or stinging, headache, itching, flu.
7. What would be the storage condition of Tapina® Cream?
Do not store above 30°C. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Keep in a dry place. Protect from light & keep out of the reach of children.
