Presentation

Oranza Powder for Solution: Each sachet contains Sodium Bicarbonate (BP 2.32 g), Anhydrous Citric Acid (BP 2.18 g), and Anhydrous Sodium Carbonate (BP 0.50 g).

Description

Oranza can quickly relieve of heartburn and acid indigestion and also provides refreshing temporary relief for stomach upsets.

Indications

For symptomatic relief of indigestion, flatulence, and nausea.

Dosage & Administration

For oral administration.
5 grams or one sachet dissolved in a glass of water. Drink as symptoms occur.
A second dose may be taken after 2–3 hours.
Minimum dosing interval: 2 hours.
Maximum daily dose (MDD): 2 sachets
The maximum duration of use is 14 days, unless advised by a physician.

Precautions

Do not exceed the recommended dose, as excess or prolonged use may lead to alkalosis. Treatment should be discontinued if there is no improvement in condition
and medical advice should be sought. Persistent heartburn may be an early indicator of a more serious underlying condition. Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Use in Pregnancy & Lactation

For Oranza, no clinical data on exposed pregnancies is available. Animal studies on each of the active ingredients do not indicate direct or indirect harmful effects with respect to pregnancy, embryonal or fetal development, parturition, or postnatal development.

Drug Interaction

The acid-neutralizing capacity of the product may alter the absorption profile of pH-specific drugs given concomitantly.

Over Dose

Acute ingestion of the neat powder may lead to gastric irritation, gas liberation, and possibly stomach perforation.

Storage

Do not store above 30 °C. Keep away from light and out of the reach of children.
