CARDIOVASCULAR » ANGIOTENSIN II RECEPTOR ANTAGONISTS

INDICATION

Losart® is indicated for the treatment of all grades of hypertension and congestive heart failure. It may be used alone or in combination with other anti-hypertensive agents.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Route of administration : Orall.
The usual dose is 50 mg once daily; if necessary increased after several weeks to 100 mg once daily. For elderly over 75 years, intravascular volume depletion and moderate to severe renal impairment; initially 25 mg once daily is suggested. OR AS DIRECTED BY THE PHYSICIAN.

COMPOSITION

 Losart® 25 : Losartan Potassium 25 mg.

Losart® 50 : Losartan Potassium 50 mg.
