HORMONE & STEROID

INDICATION

D-Gest is indicated to prevent progesterone deficient gynecological disorders.

• Threatened miscarriage,
• Recurrent/habitual miscarriage
• Infertility due to luteal insufficiency
• Pre-eclampsia
• Dysfunctional uterine bleeding
• Pre-menstrual symptoms
• Irregular cycles
• Dysmenorrhea
• Secondary amenorrhea
• Endometriosis

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Indication	Recommended dose
Recurrent (Habitual) Miscarriage	1 tablet twice daily until 5 months of pregnancy.
Threatened Miscarriage	4 tablets at once, then 1 tablet every 8 hours until symptoms abate.
Infertility due to Luteal Insufficiency	1 tablet daily from day 14 to 25 of the cycle for 6 months.
Pre-eclampsia	3 tablets per day from 6 to 20 weeks of pregnancy.
Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding	1 tablet twice daily for five to seven days to stop bleeding instantly. To prevent bleeding 1 tablet twice daily from day 11 to day 25 of the cycle.
Pre-menstrual Syndrome	1 tablet twice daily from day 11 to day 25 of the cycle.
Irregular Cycles	1 tablet daily from day 11 to day 25 of the cycle.
Dysmenorrhea	1 tablet twice daily from day 5 to day 25 of the cycle.
Endometriosis	1 tablet two or three times daily from day 5 to day 25 of the cycle or continuously.
Hormone Replacement Therapy	1 tablet daily for 14 consecutive days of a 28 days cycle.

D-gest 10 Tablet: Each tablet contains Dydrogesterone BP 10 mg.
