INDICATION

Glifo-M is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus and to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death in adult patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and established cardiovascular disease.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Age and Body Weight	Initial Dosage	Minimum and Maximum Maintenance Dosage
dults (18 years and older)	The recommended dose of Glifo M is twice daily & Glifo-M XR once daily with food.	ln patients tolerating the combination, the dose may be increased to Metformin 2000 mg and Empagliflozin 25 mg

COMPOSITION

Glifo-M 5/500: Each film coated tablet contains Empagliflozin INN 5 mg & Metformin HCL BP 500 mg.
Glifo-M 12.5/500: Each film coated tablet contains Empagliflozin INN 12.5 mg & Metformin HCL BP 500 mg.
Glifo-M 10/1000 XR: Each extended release tablet contains Empagliflozin INN 10 mg & Metformin HCL BP 1000 mg extended release.
Glifo-M 20/1000 XR: Each extended release tablet contains Empagliflozin INN 25 mg & Metformin HCL BP 1000 mg extended release.
