Presentation:

Ipec-Super Capsule: Each capsule contains Iron Polymaltose Complex INN 188 mg equivalent to 47 mg of elemental iron, Folic Acid BP 0.5 mg, Zinc Sulfate Monohydrate USP 61.8 mg equivalent to 22.5 mg elemental Zinc, Thiamine Hydrochloride (vitamin-B1) USP 5 mg, Riboflavin (vitamin-B2) USP 2 mg, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (vitamin-B6) BP 2 mg, Nicotinamide (vitamin -B3) USP 20 mg.

Indications:

Prevention and treatment of iron, folic acid, zinc & vitamin B-complex deficiency disorders.

Dosage & Administration:

One capsule daily. Two capsules may be required a day in severe cases or as directed by the physician.

Contrainidications:

Hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the formulation.

Warning & Precautions:

As with all iron preparations, a dark coloration of the stool may occur which is without clinical significance.

Side effects:

Generally well tolerated. Very few allergic reaction may be seen.

Drug interaction:

No interaction has been found between Iron Polymaltose Complex and food or other drugs due to its non-ionic nature.

Use in special groups:

Use in pregnancy & lactation: Recommended in pregnancy and lactation.
