Orioplex

VITAMINS & MINERALS: Multivitamin + Multimineral

Indication

Orioplex-M is indicated for supportive nutritional supplementation in conditions in which B-Vitamins are required prophylactically or therapeutically. These includes: Gastrointestinal disorders, alcoholism, febrile illness, improper food intake, hyperthyroidism, anorexia, neuritis, nerve pains, decreased absorptions etc. It is also indicated for conditions resulting in increased needs for B-vitamins such as pregnancy, severe burns & recovery from surgery.

Contraindication

Not known.

Dosage & Administration

1-2 tablets thrice daily or as prescribed by a registered physician.

Side Effect

Adverse reactions have been reported with specific vitamins but generally at levels substantially higher than those in Orioplex.

Precaution

Orioplex-M is not intended for treatment of severe specific deficiencies.

Drug Interaction

As little as 5 mg Pyridoxine daily can decrease the efficacy of levodopa in the treatment of parkinsonism.
