VITAMINS & MINERALS: Multivitamin + Multimineral

Indication

Prenatal multivitamin and multimineral tablet is indicated to provide vitamin and mineral throughout the pregnancy and during postnatal period for both the lactating and non-lactating mother. It is also useful for improving nutritional status prior to conception.

Contraindication

This product is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.  

Dosage & Administration

Before and during pregnancy, one tablet daily or as directed by the physician. 

Side Effect

Adverse reactions have been reported with specific vitamins but generally at levels substantially higher than those in prenatal multivitamin tablets. 

Precaution

Long-term intake of high levels of vitamin A (excluding that sourced from beta carotene) may increase the risk of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. If any one is taking other vitamin A supplements, don\’t take this product

Drug Interaction

As little as 5mg pyridoxine daily can decrease the efficacy of levodopa in the treatment of parkinsonism.
