VITAMINS & MINERALS: Multivitamin with Cod liver oil

Indication

Goldkid syrup is indicated for the treatment and prevention of vitamin deficiencies associated with restricted diet, improper food intake and decreased absorption. It is also indicated for the children with increased requirement for vitamins due to acute and chronic diseases, growing children and anorexic children.

Contraindication

Should not be used in the patients with Levodopa therapy, in hypercalcemia and hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Dosage & Administration

Infant (1-12 months) : ½ teaspoonful/day 

Child (1-4 years)    : 1 teaspoonful/day

Child (over 4 years) : 1½ teaspoonful/day

Adult                         : 2  teaspoonful/day

Side Effect

Generally well tolerated but allergic reactions may occur in rare case.

Precaution

This medicine may accumulate in the body which may cause danger. Therefore, this drug should not be used  continuously except recommended by physicians.

Drug Interaction

Recommended in pregnancy and lactation. 

Presentation

Interaction may occur with Erythromycin, Conjugated estrogens, Sodium bicarbonate, Chloramphenicol, Chlorothiazide etc. 

Contraindications

Amber glass bottle contains 100 ml syrup.
